Redundant Fieldbus Power Supplies
The MTL-Relcom redundant fieldbus power system provides redundant power conditioning for fieldbus network segments and facilitates the connection of redundant input power supplies. Users can select from the widest range of available power options ranging from single-segment (FPS-I) through two/four-segment and eight-segment (F600 & F800 series) redundant power systems.

All systems are fully ‘hot-swappable’ meaning that individual power conditioning modules and input power supplies can be replaced without interrupting power or communication on the fieldbus segment. An alarm circuit provides warning in case of a power conditioning module or input power supply failure, and the system is designed so that power for several fieldbus segments can be provided from a single cabinet with minimal wiring.

The F800 Series provide redundant isolated power conditioning for eight (8) Fieldbus H1 network segments. The carriers provide for wire terminations for the 8 segments as well as the 2 power conditioning modules. These carriers are completely free of electronic components. This maximizes their MTBF and provides for the maximum System Availability. One Fieldbus segment terminator is included for each segment. The system integrates seamlessly with host controllers from all the leading DCS vendors.

The F809F physical layer Fieldbus Diagnostics Module may be installed on any F800 carrier to automatically collect and distribute additional diagnostic information for each of the eight fieldbus segments. <Tell me more >

The FPS Series is designed so that power for several Fieldbus segments can be provided from a single cabinet with minimal wiring. One Fieldbus segment terminator is included for each segment in the FPS-I model. Where a built-in terminator is not desired, use the FPS-2 model.

The F6x0A Series provide multi-segment fieldbus power using the FPS-IPM power modules. The systems integrate seamlessly with host controllers from all the leading DCS vendors.
